Well, even though I've been a terrible slag and haven't participated in the BA Ulquihime FC for ages, I still wanted to do something for the Tanabata celebration that is being held there. So this is my contribution
 Anyway, since I really had already made a Tanabata picture, I went with a different route. Since Ulquiorra will oooobviously come back (oh he better), there will be some sort of reunion down the road. That's when I sort of envision this taking place, so the whole 'meeting of the separated lovers' was the part of the myth I was drawing from. And yeah, I didn't draw his helmet or hollow hole or tear mark thingies. I figure if he's come to this understanding of the heart/obtained one himself, he's lost the big thing that distinguishes hollows and therefore the other things could kind of go with that. Mmmmyes. Artistic license is so fun. On a side note, I tried to do a similar background as I did in my other Tanabata pic, but I'm sooo much happier with how it turned out this time. Closer to what I had been going for. |
