Patience is a Virtue

So unfortunately without rereading the Silmarillion, most of the things I remember finding funny involved Sauron. I think it's partly cause I find special enjoyment from making fun of srs bsns evil? I dunno. I dunno what my issue is.

Anyway, so Sauron had to chill with the elves while making the rings and all, right? And I can't get a good read for exactly how long that was, but he first approached Gil-Galad in S.A. 1200, and the rings were made around 1500. That's like 300-ish years of required generally good behavior. A+ acting skills on that one, yo.

Also, it's distressing when you make something like this to be all "ha ha ha what a funny situation" but realize you're basically spending half your school time putting on a smile to mask your rage and playing COD at home cause you have to murder SOMETHING and other humans is socially unacceptable. Things that hit a little awkwardly close to home.
